Exec Chairman SUBEB distributes learning materials to Bauchi LGAs.
The Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Alhaji Adamu Mohammad Duguri has charged education Secretaries of the twenty local government areas of the State on the implementation of the Effective School Programmes in Bauchi state.
Alhaji Adamu Mohammad gave the charge when the Education Secretaries paid him a solidarity visit at the SUBEB’s conference hall, Bauchi.
He said the implementation of the contemporary education policies and programmes across the state would lead to improved learning conditions and processes thereby enhance basic education levels.
The chairman further noted that proper teaching to students of the state would enable them to effectively participate and compete favourably in the twenty first century among their peers globally
According to him, SUBEB under his leadership would prioritize investing towards improving key aspects of the board delivery with a view to having better outcomes of students.
Alhaji Adamu Mohammad seeks the support of the educational secretaries to ensure collective actions at National and State levels in ensuring standards in basic education service delivery, are attained and further scaled up effectiveness of teaching and learning with commensurate outcomes.
The Chairman lamented the poor relationship that existed between the staff of SUBEB, and the Education Secretaries and he immediately directed the distribution of over sixty thousand learning materials procured by UBEC and over over hundred and twenty-three books from BESDA to various local government areas of the State through the ESs.
Earlier in his remarks, the Dean of (E.S) Education Secretaries Nasiru Mohammad Fanti said the aimed of their visit was to congratulate the SUBEB chairman Alhaji Adamu Mohammad Duguri for the well deserve appointment considering his wealth of experience and political exposure bring the needed change in the board.
