BESDA supervises ongoing post literacy examination centers of the programme in Bauchi Metropolis
The State Universal Basic Education Board has reaffirmed it commitment towards collaborating with development partners to boost access and quality of education in the state.
The State Coordinator of Better Education Service Delivery for All Alhaji Nura Muhammad stated this while speaking to newsmen shortly after he led a supervisory team to supervise the ongoing post literacy examination centers of the programme at Anguwar Kur, Kandahar and Tudun Salmanu in Bauchi Metropolis
He commended the collaborative efforts of SUBED and BESDA for initiating the learning programme which he said would assist in strengthening the quality of education in the State and therefore called on parents to support the initiative to ensure its success. `
The coordinator commended state government for its educational policies aimed at increasing access to quality education to children in the state.
According to him, SUBED in collaboration with BESDA have over six hundred centres across six local government areas of the state aimed at providing access to basic literacy on non-formal approach and stream them to primary schools in the state.
Earlier in their separate remarks, the SUBEB quality assurance Abdulrahman Bala charged the students and the teachers to be dedicated aimed at achieving the set objectives
